Fantastic $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
After a short availability earlier this year, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time available until Dec. 2. Described as an extensive collection of mapping tools developed by a specialized software company over the years, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. And there are multiple package options available here.
Primary Feature
The big draw is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, a professional-grade cartography program that can be used to generate various types including epic fantasy landscapes, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels
Basic Package
The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, Cartographer's Annual Vol 1, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes a variety CC3+ add-ons including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and land masses from almost any perspective. Users can also create character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license seeking permanent licensing. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners considering you even get the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here is that while the purchase is available on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.
Charitable Component
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, that's Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
