The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Fighters Table

Ever since the premiere of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a diverse cast of heroes, and a thrilling plot featuring divine entities, demons, and malevolent powers increasing in influence within the urban setting.

Note: Key plot points for Episode 3 of this adventure follow below.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The latest chapter ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the initial group of characters who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their independent quest, apart from the other two tables.

This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (played by Travis), the agile character (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

Why Split the Party?

Considering a large ensemble, it was evident from the outset that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.

Hence, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, weaving together the individual narratives before branching into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.

The Nature of the Warrior Group

As described by the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for participants who are drawn to a typically action-packed battle-oriented story mode where peaceful solutions are rare.

Initially, figures such as the hesitant healer Wicander might appear unsuited, but the events of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the party has a clear idea where to proceed after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose demise initiated the narrative’s action—used the enemy for his own means, breaking into the secret base, striking the rogue, and swiping all the magical artifacts to auction.

The traitor then cleared his debts and escaped to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, north of the city, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.

Personal Motivations

Secondly, each member has a individual motive to exit Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and trusted friend, desires retribution.
  • The adventurer has experience in the region and advises that it is a nasty environment.
  • Tyranny and The healer, having resisted his relatives’ demands to kill Teor and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • Yet, their reputation as important members in the powerful family could assist the group access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Moreover, The fighter vowed a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his rescue and will now follow him wherever.

Wanted and Hunted

Lastly, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control the city for a variety of reasons, making remaining behind dangerous:

  • Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
  • Tyranny and Wicander defied House Halovar and the legion of demons they are partnered with.
  • The fighter is targeted for elimination by House Halovar.

This leaves them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in quest for the traitor.

What’s Next?

Based on the recent installment’s post-show segment, we learn that the Soldiers table will be absent in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight cast members to form the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Fans can look forward to learning which players will be in which group in the story’s concluding setup installment, available to watch on October 24.
